USING FROM THE CORE
Fish with “From the Core” Topping
Prep 10 minutes Total 20 minutes Serves 4
Ingredients
Instructions
1.Heat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, mix “From the Core” topping, cilantro, onion and chile.
2.Line 13x9-inch pan with foil. Place fish, skin side down, in pan; sprinkle with salt, top with mixture.
3.Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped jalapeño chile, (optional)
- 4 salmon fillets or haddock fillets, about 1 inch thick (1-1/2 lb)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions

Prep Time: 10 Total Time: 20 min Serves 4

1.Flatten the chicken to 1/4-in. thickness. Place flour in a large shallow dish; add chicken and turn to coat.
2.In a large skillet, brown chicken over medium heat in oil until juices run clear, 3-5 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm.
3.In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and “From the Core” topping until smooth. Gradually add to skillet. Stir in the honey, teriyaki sauce and pepper. Bring to a simmer. Cook and stir until thickened, and chicken; heat through. Serve with rice.

- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 pint of “From the Core” topping
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium teriyaki sauce or reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Hot cooked rice

“From the Core” Risotto
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
1- ½ cup Arborio Rice
10 oz. broccoli
5 cups water
1 C. of white wine
1 onion, chopped
¼ cup fresh cilantro or parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 jar From the Core topping
Directions
1. Start with onion, sauté in some water.
2. Add the Arborio Rice and water, stir until it’s gone. Add wine, stir until it’s gone.
3. Add salt and cilantro cook until water is absorbed.
4. When the rice is cooked, add From the Core topping and stir until it’s gone.
Serves 4-6

"From the Core" Corn Bread
Ingredients
• 1 c cornmeal
• 1 c gluten free Measure for Measure flour
• 1 Tbsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp fine salt
• 1 C. almond milk
• 1/4 C. Green Womxn “From the Core” topping
• 1/4 C. pure maple syrup
• 2 Tbsp raw sugar (optional)
Instructions
NOTE: Won’t fill muffin tin with one batch. Double for that.

• 1 c gluten free Measure for Measure flour
• 1 Tbsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp fine salt
• 1 C. almond milk
• 1/4 C. Green Womxn “From the Core” topping
• 1/4 C. pure maple syrup
• 2 Tbsp raw sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Whisk cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl.
- In a separate container add alternative milk, From The Core sauce, and maple syrup. Whisk together.
- Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into a small bread pan (I use silicone, if not line with parchment paper, or copper muffin tin (do not grease)
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, for both bread and muffins.
- Serve with your favorite chili or stew
NOTE: Won’t fill muffin tin with one batch. Double for that.

USING FROM THE CORE
FTC Rum Old Fashioned
2 oz aged rum
1/4 oz strained FTC juice
1 tsp simple syrup
Add all ingredients to a glass with ice, stir to combine, and garnish with an orange twist.

FTC Penicillin
2 oz blended scotch
3/4 oz strained FTC juice
1/2 oz honey
3/4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 oz peated scotch
Add the first four ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake, and strain over fresh ice into a glass. Gently pour peated scotch into the glass over the back of a spoon so it floats on top. Garnish with candied ginger or a lemon twist.

- 2 parts Brandy
- 1 part "From the Core" (strain or not, either way it's yummy)
- ½ part Blue curacao
Instructions
- Put all ingredients over ice in a shaker, shake vigorously.
- Strain into a chilled clear rocks glass.
